Wick trimmers are useful in cutting the wick on your candles, they have long handles so you can get into some of the taller candle jars. It is recommended that you trim your wick before each burn to about 1/4". This allows your wick to be rid of the soot from the last burn. It also provides a smaller more controlled flame when your candle is lit.
